QBO Estimate Template per Department

My company has three departments. Parts, Sales and Service. How can I create a different estimate template per department and have the user in the department default to their template. Right now it is using the "Default" template and every time a user crates a new estimate they have to click and select the department template I created. Can a user in a department be associated to their departments custom template?

Thanks for posting your inquiry in the Community, CAMAV. We appreciate you bringing up this valuable need for a department-specific default templates.

At the moment, we can only assign one default template in an entire QuickBooks Online account. Users need to manually select the appropriate departmental template from the customize dropdown menu each time they create an estimate or any other sales transactions.

You'll want to consider exploring third-party apps or add-ons that are compatible with QuickBooks Online for more advanced customization options. Check out the QuickBooks App Store and search for apps related to estimates and templates.
