Using multiple databases in QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus

You need to close your first company file and open the second one normally. You can only open 2 company files at the same time in QB Desktop Accountant and Enterprise. If you don't need to run any add-ons (e.g payroll), you can use the trial version of Enterprise as a workaround.
