Can’t view mileage says can not connect

Let's configure your mobile device and authorize QuickBooks Online (QBO) to track your location so you can view your trips. The process may vary depending on the Android Operating System installed on your device.

Before we start, it's important to remember that users with admin privileges can track mileage in your company. In case you have the correct user type, follow the steps below to address your concern.

Android OS version 10 and below:

1. For location permissions, select Allow and tap the Allow all the time button.
2. When prompted, simply press the Allow button.
   
   

Android OS version 11 and above:

1. For location permissions select While using the app and tap the OK button.
2. Choose Allow all the time and Allow to grant access to your physical activity.
   
   

If you're using an iPhone or iPad, turn on the auto-tracking function. Simply follow these steps:

1.  Launch the QuickBooks mobile app.
2. Press the menu ☰  icon.
3. Pick All and choose Mileage.
4. Select Auto-track your miles.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to set the Allow location access.
