Error 1001 Invalid PIN

I can't process payroll because of an error 1001.  I have successfully changed the PIN and waited 15 minutes.  Still getting the error message.  This was strange because I was entering the PIN in correctly to begin with.

Thanks for updating your PIN. Since the PIN change was completed, but you’re still unable to log in, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Live Support team so they can review your account and resolve the matter as soon as possible.

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Navigate to Help menu and click QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  3. Use the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to enter your question.
  4. You'll get a list of related articles.
  5. Select Contact Us in the help window if you don't get the answers you need.
