When I try to create my 1099 the drop down does not allow me to select 1099-INT for interest paid

Hi, Camille. I’d like to provide you with some helpful information about your 1099-INT forms in QBO.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) automates the filing for 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC forms. However, it doesn't provide the ability to generate or e-file 1099-INT forms at this time.

To remain compliant, you'll have to manually prepare these forms externally using official IRS documents or a third-party filing service.

With that being said, because we've been tracking your interest payments in QBO, the data is already prepared. You can simply export those records and use them to file your 1099-INTs through the IRS portal.
