You can switch an employee to direct deposit if you have Intuit QuickBooks Workforce added to your business and a US bank account set up for bank transfers (ACH). Once those are ready, you can set up direct deposit for your company and add your employees' bank info right in QuickBooks Online.


Here is how to get started:

 

  1. Use this guide to check your company's requirements and update your settings: Set up your company payroll for direct deposit.
  2. After your company is set up, follow these steps to add your employees' bank details: Set up direct deposit for employees.


Once you complete these steps, your employees' next paychecks will be deposited via direct deposit.
