It's great to see a new face here in the Community. I'd be more than happy to show you how to remove state withholdings and SUL locations.
You can easily remove the state by inactivating it by going to the Payroll Settings. Before doing that, make sure that no active employees are currently assigned to the work location. Once confirmed, please follow the steps below:
Go to the Gear icon, then choose Payroll Settings.
Under Company and Account, click Work Locations.
Select the exact state, then mark the Inactive checkbox.
I added a State where I was going to employ someone, but the employee did not join. Now I want to delete that state from the Payroll Settings page and i am unable to. Please advise.
