How many contractors can I pay with direct deposit?

You can pay as many contractors as possible with direct deposit in QuickBooks Online (QBO), jemme. I'll further explain this and guide you through completing the process below.

When using QuickBooks Payroll, paying independent contractors with direct deposit is easy. Given that you've already set up your company payroll for direct deposit, you can either invite them to provide their W-9 business and bank account information or manually add the details yourself.

If you opt to enter your contractor's account information, here's how: 

1. Select the Payroll menu, then Contractors.
2. For a new contractor, select Add a contractor or select the existing contractor to add or edit bank info.
3. Select Bank account.
4. As prompted, enter the Account Number, Account Type, Routing Number, Account holder Phone Number, and Account holder Full Name.
5. Click Save.

Once you're done, send a direct deposit payment to your contractors.
