I just started quickbooks. I would like to do payroll for last week. Says not due until this Thursday. How do I do late payroll?

As long as it doesn't affect your tax payments or result in tax penalties, you can make your paychecks as usual.

Here's how:

1. Follow the steps to create a paycheck for an employee for unscheduled payroll.
2. Change the pay date to the day you paid your employee while filling out the form.
3. If you paid them via direct deposit, change the check type to a paper check, then submit your payroll.

Then, you can run a payroll report to view helpful information about your business and employees.
