We can remove the work locations by inactivating them in the Payroll Settings. Before doing so, ensure you have no active employee currently assigned to that work location. Then, please follow the steps below:
Go to the Settings menu (Gear icon), then choose Payroll Settings.
Under Company and Account, select Work Locations.
Select the NY state, then mark the Inactive checkbox and hit Save.
