Question

I made a 4th quarter tax payment in early January 2022. But Quickbooks it crediting it to the 2022 year estimated taxes. How can I fix this? Thanks

I can help you with that, colinadamspa-gma.

 

You can change the date of the transactions to 2021. This way, they won't be credited to your 2022 year Estimated taxes.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Locate the transaction.
  3. Change the date to 2021.
  4. Click Save.
