If you've submitted payroll two banking days before the check date, funds should be deposited into your employees' accounts by the end of the day today, Jbmills.

If your employees won't get their direct deposit, it can be caused by the following:

  • Employee bank account information is incorrect.
  • There is an issue with the financial institution, such as delays in the direct deposit processing.
  • The scheduled pay date falls on a weekend or holiday, which may result in payments being pushed to the next business day.
  • Payroll was submitted after the 5:00 PM Pacific Time cut-off for processing. In this case, payments are processed on the next banking day.

However, if there are issues with the bank information, the funds will be rejected and returned to the employer's account. This process will take 2-3 business days after the pay date.

On top of that, if payroll is submitted on a non-banking day or federal holiday, your direct deposit will be drawn from your account the next banking day.

If your employee still hasn’t received their funds by 5 PM on the scheduled pay date, it’s best to contact our Live Expert Team for prompt assistance. They can initiate a direct deposit trace to help resolve the issue and ensure your employee gets paid as soon as possible.
