My payroll taxes were set up for automatic but now all the sudden it's turned off.

if your automated taxes stopped working, it's possible the setting was somehow turned off. You can check it in your Payroll Settings.

Here's how:
 

1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Payroll Settings.
2. In your Taxes and forms section, check if the Automate taxes and forms setting is turned on or off. If it's turned off, turn it on to automate payroll taxes.
3. Select Save if you made any changes.
