Question

payroll principal officer endless support loop to nowhere

In an error on one of my employees behalf the previous owner of my company’s information was put into the principal payroll officer. I have tried for 2 weeks to resolve this issue. I have been on the phone or chat with 14 different support members. I have even had the previous owner on the phone with support. This has shut down my payroll direct deposit for two weeks when what ultimately needs to be done is 3 lines of information need to be changed name, dob, and ssn. There is a link in payroll settings but it will not work well at least it wont work on 5 different machines, incognito windows, chrome and edge. I cant beleive the loop i have been in to update 3 lines of information. This has been the most frustrating experience. support is terrible if you ask any why questions they just disconnect the chat. the phone calls are even worse when there best answer is we have escalated the situation. most of the time they dont even try that hard they are just rude and usually ask if there is anything else when we havent even got answer on the only question i had…..stellar

Are you getting a specific error message when trying to save the changes, or does the page just error out? Also, do you know if there is an active Identity Verification case on your account?

If an Identity Verification case was opened due to the account changes, the system completely locks the Principal Officer fields. You won't be able to use the update link until that case is fully resolved.

Please check your inbox and spam folder for an email from the Intuit Identity Verification team requesting documents. Replying directly to that email with the requested files should unlock your account, allowing you to update the Principal Officer information and resume direct deposit.

I have been verified several times and I have also had the previous owner verified. see original post for the details. Your team has regurgitated the same responses for several weeks at this point. It borderline funny at this point if, it wasn’t completely screwing up my buisness

I have subscribed to merchant accounts they have also unsubscribed me from bill pay and that was supposed to fix it. Now I was just sent an email to re-upload my banking info as a new bank and what do you know once i hit complete it tells me something went wrong. I honestly don't believe anyone at this point wants to actually fix this. I think that I am just receiving automated text book answers because each new person i deal with has me do the same thing over and over. To be fair at the end they have me try something new and the next person i talk ask me why they would ever have me do that? I am at a loss at this point. My business has been hi-jacked and there is nothing i can do about it
