QBO Payroll Contractor Pricing

Since you have one employee aside from planning to pay 10+ contractors, you can continue to utilize QuickBooks Online Payroll Core because it can process both types of workers. You can also process an unlimited number of contractors in this subscription.

To answer your questions, you can read it below:

1. There's a $5 cost per contractor paid each month for direct deposit. Please note that the price may change due to updates, promotions, or other adjustments. You can check it in this link: QuickBooks Payroll Core and Contractor Payments plan and pricing.
2. You are only charged for contractors processed via direct deposit within that billing month.
3. The charge is based on the contractors you paid via direct deposit. This doesn't apply even if you enable 1099 tracking or have them set up in your system. Fees are only shown for 1099 once QuickBooks prints and mails a copy to your contractors or vendors after e-filing.
