Question

When I enter payroll hours and then click "save for later" then go back in there, none of the information I entered is saved. What am I doing wrong?

Good day, lawanda1 and kimatuet.

 

I'm here to make sure you can find your saved payroll information in QuickBooks Online. 

 

What we need to do is to go back to the Employees page, then click on the Run payroll again. That way, you'll see the payroll entries where you left off.

If anybody stumbles upon this thread in the future, save for later on payroll does not work. Calling into support about it just gets a confirmation that it'll save things like bonus fields, but will reset all hours if your using the time features of Quickbooks at all.
