Where do I find my payroll costs in my profit and loss?

Yes, payroll costs are under Payroll Expenses in QuickBooks Online's (QBO) Profit and Loss (P&L) report. Let me add information about this and suggest comparable reports in case you want to take a look at the breakdown of the payroll costs. 

In the P&L report, wages plus taxes cover the total payroll costs. If it isn't visible on the report, I suggest ensuring that the collapse/expand arrow is expanded. I've attached a screenshot for visual reference. 

If you want to see the breakdown of the payroll costs, you can consider running the Profit and Loss Detail or Payroll Detail reports.
