Thank you for getting back to the Community and clarifying things on your end, shislop.

Here's the updated step you can have your Android users follow:

  1. Go to the Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Choose Settings, then click Reset app to clear the app and refresh the functionality.
  3. Confirm the reset if prompted.

This process will help refresh the app and remove any cached data that could be causing the issue.

Hello there, Shislop.

Your employees or users are unable to edit time entries in QuickBooks Workforce or Tsheets due to cached data on their devices or browsers. This cached data can interfere with normal functionality, including the ability to edit time entries.

To help resolve this, let's have them follow these troubleshooting steps:

For iOS users:

  1. Go to the Settings, then tap General.
  2. Select iPhone Storage, then press the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap Offload App.

For Android users:

  1. Go to Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Choose Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Click YES to confirm.

If your employee/user is using a web browser, I suggest switching to another supported web browser to access the QuickBooks account, as this often bypasses issues caused by cached data in the current browser.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Workforce support team. They will be able to identify the root cause and provide an explanation for why this is occurring on your end.

Please leave your response below if you have any additional concerns. We are here to help.

Thank you. For Android, under Settings, there is no Refresh Data option. The options are: General, Notifications, Reset app, About QB Workforce, Device Logs and Sync data.
