Finalise button in advanced payroll is not displaying

I have ran our March payroll, but when going to 'finalise pay run' and completing the various questions no 'finalise' button is displayed.

We can perform some browser troubleshooting steps to see if the issue is browser-related, which should help restore the Finalise button so you can complete your payroll process.

 

To begin with, you can sign in to your QBO account in an incognito or private browser to see if the Finalise button will show. You can use these shortcut keys to access a private window:

 

  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘+Shift+N
  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

If the button appears using the private window, let's clear the browser's cache to restore the program to its default settings. Web browsers store cache to speed up loading data and images you frequently access. However, over time, this cache can become outdated and corrupt, leading to issues like this.

 

Alternatively, you can use other supported web browsers to access QBO. Please refer to this article for more information: QuickBooks Online supported browsers.

I have done everything recommended and the Finalise button is still not displaying!

Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Get assistance through the QB Assistant tab or enter your concern in the Search tab.
  4. Click Contact Us.
  5. Choose either Callback or Chat.

 

Please note that phone support hours for QBO Payroll Core, Standard, and Advanced are available weekdays from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. For Callback, available weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
