Which version of the payroll are you using? We currently offer three - Standard, Advanced, and PaySuite.
You will need to setup the Statutory Maternity Pay on the employee and the system will calculate this for you, you can also cross-reference the SMP calculation using the HMRC online calculator.
Employees > Select the employee > Absences > Absence Type, Statutory Maternity Pay > Start Date > Create New Absence Enter at least the mandatory information > Save
