Having added SSP for an employee, I cannot find any information on how to enable payroll to still calculate full pay? All links are dead ends!

When you said full pay, do you mean an employee's salary for a specific pay period?  If so, it will automatically appear as a line item alongside their salary since you’ve already added Statutory Sick Pay in QuickBooks Online. All you need to do now is run payroll.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to All apps, choose Payroll, and select Employees.
  2. Click Run payroll.
  3. Select your pay schedule and click Continue.
  4. Choose the employee.
  5. Click Preview payroll, verify the details, and click Submit payroll.
