I have just set up payroll and chosen advanced can I revert back to the lower payroll

Yes. We can subscribe to a lower version payroll, donna_cassar.

Before doing so, we'll have to cancel our Advanced Payroll to avoid any charges.

Just a heads up, we're unable to transfer data from one payroll account to another once the account is canceled. You might want to manually enter them. 

Afterward, you're good to purchase to a different payroll subscription. Here's how:

1. Click the Employees tab.
2. Select Choose your plan.
3. Click Start on the Standard Payroll section.
