If you're using hourly cost to track your employee's overtime or double time rate, you can simply create another time activity to record them in QuickBooks. Here's how:
Go to the Projects menu and select the project.
Choose the Project.
Tap Hours to add the hourly rate.
Click Save.
After your project is set up to track income, expenses, as well as timesheets, and labor costs, you can now review your profits. See this article for your reference: Understanding project profitability.
