QuickBooks Self employed never opens from a notification. why is that?

I get a notification when I have new transactions to review. If I press on the notification it starts to open my QuickBooks Self employed app but it never leaves the spinning circle screen.

Let's make sure you have the latest version of the app, Derek Suffolk.

 

Errors usually occur when the QuickBooks Self-Employed app is out of date.

 

Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap menu My apps & games.
  3. Select QBSE to update.
  4. Tap More.
  5. Tap Enable auto update.

iOS:

  1. Tap the App Store icon on the Home screen.
  2. Tap the Updates button to access the Updates screen, then tap the Update button for QBSE.

If the error persists, I recommend contacting QBSE support to check your account, here's how:

  1. Click Assistant from the top menu.
  2. Enter Talk to a human.
  3. Select from Start a chat or Get a callback.

Keep in mind, some options are only available at certain times.
