Ran our first pay run today on advanced online. Employees received an email notification with a link on it, taking them to their payslip. How do we password protect it?

Hi Michelle,

Your employees can also access this through a browser - to access the link for this, go to Payroll settings > Employee portal settings > Access.

If you setup and grant access to the employees here then this will send an email saying your payslip is ready to view instead of emailing the actual payslip.

Thanks

Hello Michellebennett1,

Welcome to the Community page,

This link will help you to set the employees up so that they have to put a password on to open the payslips.

You will need to set up workzone to access payslips rather than getting them sent out via email

once you have been added it will send you an email to ask you to create a password you will use the link and gain access that way. to find the link if you click into employees> payroll setting>under business management> employee portal settings> access> the link is there.

Thank you that's helpful.  Is this just a phone app, or can it be accessed on a laptop by our staff?  If I set all this up before May's pay run and give everyone a log in, how do I tell the advanced Payroll system not to send a payslip link in the email next time?  Is there a setting at Employee level somewhere or is it set at Pay run level?
