For Standard Payroll users, you can only change the pay date as long as you haven't run your first payroll. You can follow these steps to go back and edit:
Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
Move to the Payroll tab.
Select the Pay schedule section and make your changes.
Click Save pay schedule.
If you already did, the only way to change the payroll settings is by deleting the pay run.
