Hello100523ng,

To disable the MTD connection within QuickBooks, go to Taxes > drop-down beside Edit VAT > Edit settings > Toggle the slider to turn off MTD. You will be asked if you have unsubscribed from MTD with HMRC, select that you have as this will not change anything with HMRC.

After this, turn off the connection within the settings by going to the Cog Wheel > Account & Setttings > Advanced > Click into the section for Making Tax Digital > Select 'Learn how to disconnect' and follow the on-screen messaging to complete the disconnect.

When you are ready, you can re-connect MTD by going to Taxes and toggle the switch on within the settings here.

Thanks
