We are using Payroll advanced online from Dec 2021. Do I add leavers paid in the tax year but left in Sept 2021?

Are you using another software for payroll? 

If you are not using advanced payroll in Quickbooks until December and the person leaves in September then you would need to record this on the software you are using.
