As our staff left the company, can I cancel the QBs Online Payroll and sign up later when a new staff join us? Can I still access the old payroll data & print T4 later?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll subscriptions can be cancelled in situations such as this.  However, you will need to resubscribe in order to have access to payroll information and associated forms.

I recommend keeping your QuickBooks Online Payroll active so you can create the employee T4 slips when due.  Should you decided to proceed with canceling your payroll service, follow these steps;

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings

2. Click on the Billing & subscription tab

3. In the Payroll section, select Cancel

4. Select Continue

5. Complete the short survey, then select Cancel Payroll Service.
