Does anyone know how to change how our payroll direct deposit appears when deposited in employee accounts? Instead of showing a company name it just says “Payroll”.

Changing how your payroll direct deposit appears in your employee's bank account isn't possible in QuickBooks Online (QBO), HornbyBree.

This is because the way the deposit is labeled depends on the processing system and the details provided by the employee's financial institutions. Although you can't change the name of the deposit, you can ensure that all other company information associated with payroll is updated and accurate by checking your company's payroll settings.
