How do I correct the payroll tax payment date?

Welcome to Community!  It's important that you're able to record your QuickBooks Online Payroll remittance accurately, for a smooth reconciliation process.  I'd be glad to assist!

You can delete the payment, then record it with the proper date.  Here's how;

1. From the left menu, open Taxes, then Payroll Tax

2. Open Payment History

3.Locate and select the payment from the list and click on it to see the Tax Payment Detail

4. Hit Delete Payment, then Yes to confirm

You're ready to record the payroll tax payment,  ensuring the correct date is entered.
