How do I do change the date to be paid? the pay stub is scheduled to pay next week but i want it paid now

Welcome to Community! QuickBooks Online Payroll is a dynamic way to ensure your employees are paid on time. Setting a specific pay date can be done manually when required. I'll be happy to show you how!

Follow these steps to enter the desired pay date for your employee:

1. Go to Payroll and select Employees 

2. Click Run Payroll

3. Select the Pay schedule and then hit Continue

4. Checkmark the Employee to be paid

5. Choose the Pay period from the drop-down menu

6. Enter the Pay date you want printed on the cheque or pay stub

7. Select Preview payroll

8. Review the payroll details, then click Submit payroll

9. Hit, Finish payroll.
