Weekly timesheets are a great way to keep track of the time spent on certain jobs, or hours worked by specific employees. Weekly timesheets are non-posting transactions. This means they will not show on reports like Profit and Loss until contents of the timesheets have been added to a sale for an expense type transaction. If you need to make adjustments once it's been saved, you can do this by reviewing your Time Activities reports.
To access the reports, follow these steps:
1. Click the Reports tab on the left menu.
2. Using the search bar, type Time Activities.
3. Select the Recent/Edited Time Activities Report, the Time Activities by Customer Detail Report, or the Time Activities by Employee Detail Report.
NOTE: Here's a breakdown of each report:
Recent/Edited Time Activities Report: The time activities your employees recently entered or edited.
Time Activities by Customer Detail Report: The products and services (time activities) each employee provided, including hourly rate and duration.
Time Activities by Employee Detail Report: The products and services (time activities) each employee provided, including hourly rate and duration.
4. Select the appropriate date-range for your report, then click Run Report.
5. Click the timesheet you need to edit. Then, make your changes and click Save.
That's all there is to it. I hope this helps get you back on track.
Cheers.
