How to purge the payroll data and setup, start from scratch? I purge the accounting data, but the payroll data was not deleted. How can I purge the payroll data?"

Thanks for reaching out to us here.  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic program for all of your bookkeeping needs.  We understand that things may not always go as planned and we provide the ability to purge your company data, so you can start over with a clean slate.  However, purging payroll entries isn't available at this time, as it's an add on feature.  

If you haven't ran payroll, you can delete the employee's.  Here's how:

1. Open Payroll then Employees from the left menu

2. Click on the employee name and click on the ▼ dropdown menu from the Actions button

3. Select Delete Employee

A message will appear stating 'deleting will remove all of the employee's info.  Are you sure you want to delete this employee', click Yes to confirm.

Once you've repeated these steps for each employee, you can start fresh.
