Is it possible to pay a contractor with direct deposit in Canada?

It's vital that all your transactions be entered correctly for your supplier balances to be accurate. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you pay your employees for their hours worked. I can provide some information about QuickBooks Online Payroll and contractors.

QuickBooks Payroll can only pay employees, so it wouldn't be able to pay contractors by direct deposit. I can see that this would be a feature you'd like to see to be able to pay these contractors directly in QuickBooks. I recommend you leave feedback in the system for the developers by clicking on the Gear Icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration when designing new features for QuickBooks Online.
