Is there a way to add a daily rate instead of an hourly rate that an employee is being paid?

At this time, the option to add a daily pay rate isn't available in QuickBooks. The available options are:

• Weekly
• Every other week or Bi-weekly
• Twice a month or Semi-monthly
• Monthly

I can see how you'd like to see the option to add a daily pay rate, so I recommend leaving feedback for you developers by heading to the "Gear" icon and selecting the "Feedback" option. Comments are viewed and considered as they create features and updates for the software.
