Hi rdecker,

Welcome to the Intuit Community! It's essential that your QuickBooks Desktop payroll tax table is updated, to ensure accurate calculations.  I would be glad to help!

If you haven't done so already, I recommend Updating QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release, to ensure you're getting the latest payroll tax table.  However, should you need to update it manually, follow these steps;

1. Run QuickBooks as Admin

2. Go to Help (?)

3. Proceed to Update QuickBooks Desktop

4. Open the Update tab

5. Select Reset Update

6. Click Get Updates

7. Close QuickBooks, then right click on it and select Run as administrator.  You should get a message letting you know there are new updates to install.  Once completed, QuickBooks will open. When it opens go to Help, then My License Information to make sure the tax table is updated.

Should you require additional assistance, or information related to the payroll tax table updates, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop specialists here.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach back out.  We would be happy to assist!
