It's possible that the file of your logo has been modified. You may want to check its file if it meets all the requirements when adding a logo. Here are the following:
smaller than 10 MB.
a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, or .jpeg file
24-bits or less in bit depth (or color depth)
square-shaped, since a rectangle doesn't work.
the standard RGB color.
Note: If the logo is CMKY-formatted, convert it into an RGB image.
If you meet all of these but, the logo won't follow your desired size, then let's run a few basic troubleshooting. This is to isolate if it's the browser's cache caused this issue.
Let's start by changing the logo in a private (incognito) window. This kind of page won't save any data history that helps it to load faster.
Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: Command + Shift + N
If it works, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. When these caches are piled up, it can cause an unexpected browser behavior.
