Question

I’m the Primary Admin of a QBO Accountant firm. IAS Core isn’t showing under Firm subscriptions. How to enable or migrate my firm to IAS Core.

I’m the Primary Admin of an existing QuickBooks Online Accountant firm. I’m trying to switch the firm to Intuit Accountant Suite Core, but there is no IAS/Core option under Settings → Subscriptions and billing → Firm subscriptions. The firm already has clients connected and I do not want to create a new accountant firm. Has anyone had this issue, and did Intuit Support have to manually enable or migrate the existing firm to IAS Core?

Switching to Intuit Accountant Suite Core is a self-serve step you can do right from your existing account, not a new one, and your clients, data, and access all stay exactly the same.

Here's where to find it:

Option 1

  1. Select Settings (the gear icon) in the upper right corner.
  2. Select Try Intuit Accountant Suite.
  3. Fill out the required fields, then select Try Intuit Accountant Suite again to confirm.

Option 2 (if you don't see that banner)

  1. Select Settings (the gear icon) in the upper right corner.
  2. Select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Select Firm subscriptions.
  4. Select Try Intuit Accountant Suite.
  5. Fill out the required fields, then confirm.

One thing to double check: the option is labeled "Try Intuit Accountant Suite," not "IAS" or "Core," so it's easy to scroll past if you're searching for different wording.

If you still don't see it under Firm subscriptions, your firm likely hasn't been moved into a rollout group yet. We’ve been switching firms over in groups since June 2026, and every firm will be on Intuit Accountant Suite by December 31, 2026. If you'd rather not wait, reach out to Accountant Support through the Help menu in your firm. They can check your account and help with the switch directly, still using your existing firm.

Switching now also sets you up for Intuit ProPartner Accountants, the new partner program replacing ProAdvisor in early 2027. Happy to go over what that means for your firm if that would help.
