It's great to see you posting in the Community forum for the first time, Zoe.

It's definitely possible to pay for your QuickBooks subscription using a debit card. QuickBooks accepts most major debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, as well as direct bank transfers (ACH).

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to purchase the service using your preferred payment method:

  1. Start by visiting the official QuickBooks Pricing Page.
  2. Select the plan that fits your business needs (e.g., Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus).
  3. Decide whether you want to sign up for a Free 30-day Trial or take advantage of the Buy Now discount. Even for the free trial, QuickBooks requires a payment method to verify your account.

Next, you’ll need to create your Intuit account and enter your basic business information.

When you reach the "How do you want to pay?" or "Billing Information" section, enter your details:

  • For your Debit Card: Enter the 16-digit card number, the expiry date, and the CVV code. Most systems treat business debit cards (Visa/Mastercard) exactly like credit cards.
  • For Bank Account (ACH): If you prefer not to use the card, look for a link that says "Choose another payment method" or "Bank Transfer." You can then enter your bank's Routing and Account numbers to pay directly from your business checking account.

Direct debit may require a quick verification process where QuickBooks sends two small "micro-deposits" to your account to confirm it's yours. Please know that QuickBooks typically doesn't accept prepaid debit cards or gift cards. It must be a debit card linked to a real bank account.

Once the payment information is verified, you will be taken to your new QuickBooks dashboard. You can then begin connecting your bank feeds so your transactions are imported automatically.

Feel free to revisit this thread if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for your kind help! But when I reach the "How do you want to pay?" or "Billing Information" section, I cannot find "Choose another payment method" or "Bank Transfer." Is there any difference in areas? I want to buy in SG.
