Taxable Payments Annual Report in the new version is not compatible with ATO reporting software.

Incorrect details are more likely the reason why your TPAR can't be downloaded to your ATO reporting software.

When using QuickBooks Online to generate these filings, the system requires you to run the report through the designated Reports sections, complete any initial setup prompts regarding cash or accrual tracking, and review supplier summaries to ensure data integrity.

If mandatory supplier details are incomplete or incorrect, the TPAR wizard will restrict export functions. To successfully achieve compatibility with your ATO reporting system, please ensure that all required contractor fields such as valid ABNs, correct addresses, and proper gross amounts are entirely error-free before attempting to download and lodge the final file.

You can check out this article for detailed information: Creating your Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR).
