Reformatted file to .csv in its simplest form, only the three Intuit-required columns: Date, Description, Amount, with no quotes, currency symbols, internal commas, or special characters. Got this error message multiple times over two days. Can anyone help?

You usually get an error when uploading data if there's an issue with mapping or formatting. I recommend reviewing the file to ensure the details are correct.

First, create a sample file and manually upload it to QuickBooks. If the sample file uploads successfully, exclude the sample transaction, then try to manually upload your own file with the correct format and mapping.

If you get an error when manually uploading the sample file, but the CSV format is mapped correctly, let’s perform browser troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

To begin, sign in to QBSE using incognito mode or a private window. This allows you to browse without storing history or cookies.

If the issue persists, make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. You can also add Intuit to your browser’s list of trusted sites to help prevent future interruptions.

After completing these steps, log in to QuickBooks again and check if you can manually upload your transaction.
