Can you please tell how to import journal entries at once into QBO under import data function and import chart of accounts with opening balances

I'll be glad to walk you through importing your Journal Entries and Chart of accounts, @accountingservic1.

Before importing the journal entry (JE), let's first prepare your spreadsheet to verify everything is correct:

• Ensure the file has a journal number, journal date, account name, and journal debits and credits.
• If your spreadsheet has new accounts, add them to the QuickBooks Chart of accounts first.
• Ensure that the spreadsheet doesn't exceed 1000 rows. If it exceeds this amount, create another spreadsheet for the excess and import them separately.
• Save the spreadsheet in a CSV file format.

We can now import your JE.

1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Import data.
2. Click Journal Entries.
3. On the Upload your CSV file section, click Browse and choose your JE CSV file. You can download the sample CSV for guidance on the formatting.
4. Click Next. Choose the corresponding Journal Date format.
5. Click Next. If there’s an error, edit the file and try again.
6. Select Start import.
7. Hit Done.

As for the Chart of Accounts (COA), adding the opening balance will need to be done manually after you import your COA into QuickBooks. But before importing, let's first prepare your spreadsheet to verify that everything is correct:

• Ensure the file has an account name, type, detail type, and number.
• All your Chart of Accounts information must be in one file
• The top row of your file must contain a header title for each column of information
• If you organize your accounts by number, add an Account Number column. Or skip this if you don’t use account numbers.
• If you have a subaccount, add it in the Account Name column in this format: Main account: subaccount. 
• Save your spreadsheet in Google Sheets, Excel, or CSV format.

We can now import your COA:

1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Import data.
2. Click Chart of Accounts.
3. Choose between the two options on how to import the COA. Then click Browse or Connect and select the COA file. You can download the sample file for guidance about formatting.
4. Map your information correctly.
5. Click Next.
6. Hit Import.
