If you get a "line account does not exist" error when importing an expense file, your CSV probably doesn't match your Chart of Accounts. They need to match word for word, including every space, capital letter, and punctuation mark.

To fix this issue, start by opening your Chart of Accounts and reviewing the spelling and format of your accounts. Make sure you are using the right account type for your transaction, such as an expense account for a business cost.

You should also check for any hidden spaces before or after your account names. Make sure you are not trying to import data into a subaccount, since the system doesn't support that feature yet.
