To prepare your company information for submission to HMRC, you can use QuickBooks Online Accountant Workpapers to complete and review your year-end accounts, including any necessary adjustments.

To begin, sync your company details from Companies House in Workpapers:

  1. Go to Firm Books, select Income Tax, then click Workpapers.
  2. Choose the Annual Accounts tab.
  3. Enter your company’s Company Registration Number (CRN) if prompted.
  4. Select Sync with Companies House.
  5. Review the Companies House information alongside the existing details in QuickBooks, then select Sync all data.

You can then review the accounts, download them in iXBRL format, and import them into Pro Tax to file your CT600 Corporation Tax return with HMRC. For complete details and step-by-step instructions, refer to the official guide: Prepare your annual accounts using Workpapers in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Please note that annual accounts may also need to be filed separately with Companies House, while the CT600 is submitted to HMRC for Corporation Tax purposes.
