Question

We are based in Ireland but we are importing some services from outside EU (for example Zoom subscription). How do we correctly apply VAT for this import?

The default RCS rate should be used only for imports within EU, correct? How then to account for import of services from outside EU?

Yes, only EU imports should utilize the default RCS rate, accounts-chern-c.

As for importing services from outside the EU, I suggest discussing the matter with your accountant. They can advise you to account for this to avoid messing up your records.
