Created new Company in quickbooks online, import help

I exported my accounts receivables from chart of accounts in QB Online and created a new company.  I need to import the A/R into the new company, but when I try to import it is not working, seems things don't "line up".  I figured since I exported it from QB online it would have no issue importing right back in.. suggestions on how to do this?

Thanks!

Let's fix your file format to correct your field, @Flight_Sim_Stuff. Happy to share the solution.

I can help you correct your mapping so you can import the accounts receivable into your new QuickBooks Online seamlessly. This way, you can categorize them without a moment's delay.

Importing the Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks has it's own file format. I'd recommend following the CSV format below to map the fields accordingly.

Once done, re-import the data by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to your new account and click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Import data
  3. Pick Chart of Accounts and pick the CSV file you previously created by clicking the Browse tab.
  4. Click Next
  5. Follow this mapping to correct your fields and hit Next
  6. Review the field and click Import when everything is good.
