Download and install QuickBooks Desktop

You're on the right track with the installation process, and it's odd that you're getting a looping behavior after dragging the QuickBooks icon to the Applications folder. To get past the problem, let check if your computer meets the minimum system requirements for your Mac version.

4. Drag the QuickBooks icon to the Applications folder. The Applications folder opens automatically.
5. Double-click the QuickBooks icon to open the application.

Don't drag the downloaded file to the applications folder, double click the downloaded .dmg file to mount it. Once mounted you'll see the application, drag that to your applications folder.
