You came to the right place for support, bendily2,
There are several triggers why you're getting OLSU errors in QuickBooks. Check this out:
A problem at your bank (sometimes referred to as your financial institution or FI).
Internet connection interruption.
One or more accounts in the company file is damaged or corrupted.
Invalid download or import format.
Using a discontinued version of Windows or QuickBooks Desktop.
Make sure you're able to download the latest version of the software. Doing this loads critical patches and fixes into the program to ensure it's working properly.
Then, let's enable TLS 1.2 in the latest version of Internet Explorer. Perform the steps below:
Try to download updates or data after each step before you move to the next.
Let me know how the troubleshooting steps goes or if you have other questions about the error. I'll be more than happy to share and provide further assistance when you need it. Have a good one!
I'm happy to provide some information about releases that are supported.
At this time, any version earlier than 2017 isn't supported. I recommend upgrading to a supported version so you can have access to all functions in QuickBooks, including bank feeds. Our troubleshooting tools are upgraded with each new release of QuickBooks and they don't quite work with the older versions.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Take care!

I have QB Accountant 2020 verison and two of my banks will not connect TD and The Provident Bank. One bank works, CHASE. I have tried every fix and both of these banks were connected to my old QB fine Now what?
If it works, I suggest going back to your company file and running the Verify and Rebuild Utility Tool. This helps repair any data damage in the system. Below are the steps on how to do this:
From the File menu.
Click on Utilities.
Select RebuildData/ Verify Data.
However, if you're still unable to connect the banks, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support. They have the special tools to help conduct a deeper investigation on what's causing this behavior.
Here are the steps to contact support:
Click Help at the top menu and select QuickBooksDesktopHelp.
In the Have a Question? window, enter a topic.
Click Contactus.
Hit the Getacallback button.
Be sure to get back to me if you have follow-up questions by leaving a reply below. I'm always happy to help. Have a good day!
How do I fix olsu1013? A complete guide to resolve QuickBooks error OLSU 1013 Method 1: Create a new company file. Method 2: Updating Financial Institution Directory (FIDIR) Method 3: Enabling TLS 1.2 Protocol. Method 4: Create and merge accounts. Method 5: Refreshing the connection with the bank.
I have TD Bank and Quickbooks Desktop 2024. For me the previously working connection seemed to fail after a QB Update, but that could be a coincidence. I un-linked the account and tried to re-link but it failed with a 1013. My resolution was to Sign into my banks web page and go into "Account Options", then "Account Services". Scroll down to "Manage Linked Services" and under the heading "Financial Tools" click on "Manage Settings". I use both Quicken and Quickbooks. For Quickbooks Ignore the section titled Quicken! Instead scroll down to "Financial Tool Access". Click on the carrot ^ to expand "Finance Tool Access" and then click on the link for "Finance Tool Access". You will see "QuickBooks Windows 2023":. Mine said "Approval Pending". I clicked on it and it said "Authorized". Qickbooks was immediately allowed to re-link the account.
If you have Quicken don't get mislead by the Quicken section at the top. It has no effect on Quickbooks.
