How do you set up Quick Books to print checks from a local printer?

For now, printing checks is unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). 

If you need to record your expense transactions, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to the Transactions menu.
2. Select Add transactions.
3. Enter its details and click Save.
